Traffic is back with limited transport options, but Angkas is here to save the day!
Through rigorous testing and consultation with the government and the UP College of Public Health, we are back safer than ever.
Our bikers are trained to be extra careful in handling passengers in these times.
We follow the government protocol for backriding.
In order to ensure the safety of our bikers and passengers,
kindly note the safety reminders below for passengers who will be backriding.
To minimize the spread of COVID-19, Angkas will not be allowed to provide passengers with helmets. You will be required to bring your own helmet that complies with the guidelines below.
Your helmet should have a full-faced visor & lock. Always keep your visor down.
Bicycle & hardhat helmets are not allowed. Kindly see the helmet guide below.
In order to minimize transmission, Angkas will only accept payments
through cashless transactions (credit/debit card).
Angkas' Passenger Shields are designed to prevent viral transmission even on a motorcycle, where 1m physical distancing is not possible. Just hold onto the barrier straps instead of the biker’s waist, and sit closely. To communicate with the biker, simply knock or tap on the barrier.
In partnership with the IATF, our bikers are tested before they’re allowed to ferry passengers again. Our app also requires them to submit daily temperature and sanitation checks before the start of the work day.
Always wear your face mask and sanitize your hands before riding.
For everyone's safety, please do not book if you have had COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days.
